BennyAdvantage™ is an employee benefits communication company built for innovative employee benefits brokers and employers. Our company was started in 2013 by insurance brokers and communication experts who identified a need for better employee benefits communication. Our mission is to produce creative, cutting-edge solutions that drive organic sales growth for our valued broker partners.
Employers spend significant dollars on employee benefits programs and many fail to effectively communicate the value to employees. In turn, most employees do not understand or appreciate their employee benefits offering. That’s because the methods used today often are outdated. With advances in technology and the rise of mobile applications, more and more communication is done electronically. Rion Shearer
Founder and Partner
Rion leads the Benny Advantage team with business development, sales and operational strategies. Rion has been in the employee benefits industry for over 15 years. He is a graduate of the Terry School of Business at The University of Georgia with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. Rion has worked for a large, national health insurance carrier and as an Employee Benefits Consultant. In his tenure as a Senior Consultant, he advised employers on communication strategies to engage employees. He understands the challenges employers and brokers face communicating employee benefit programs and complex topics.
Jeremy Spence
Founder and Partner
Jeremy leads the Benny Advantage team with operational oversight, creative direction, and assists with business development goals and sales strategies.
Jeremy has worked in the creative industry for over 15 years, and 8+ years in the Employee Benefits arena. Prior to co-founding Benny Advantage, Jeremy managed the creative workflow of a top 10, national insurance broker focusing on daily operations, corporate brand initiatives, art and marketing department oversight.
